HIGH PERFORMANCE DESCALER WITHOUT HYDROCHLORIC ACID
FLORIN® SV RAPID
is a liquid, acid cleaning agent for removing of hardness constituent precipitations, lacteal calculus as well as proteinand
grease contaminations in food areas. FLORIN® SV RAPID bases on the effect of surface-active substances and
phosphoric acid. Due to the use of phosphoric acid FLORIN® SV RAPID is much more compatible for all kinds of
surfaces than products, which contain hydrochloric acid. Tiles, sanitary ceramic, glass, stainless steel and acid-proof
synthetic material will not be attacked by FLORIN® SV RAPID. FLORIN® SV RAPID is foam-inhibited and is due to this
suitable for the continuous/discontinuous application in CIP-plants (please note parameter in plant and information of
machine manufacturer!).
APPLICATION ADVICES / FIELDS OF APPLICATION
It is recommended, due to economical reasons and to keep down the exposure factor of the cleaning solution as low as possible, to rinse the facilities and devices before application of FLORIN® SV RAPID thoroughly with water.
Dairy industry:
– Cleaning of pipes, butter finishers, storage- and transportation tanks
– FLORIN® SV RAPID is applied, among the used alcalic cleaning agents, for basic cleaning. The concentration of application is approx. 0.5 – 1.0%.
– Depending on degree of contamination the solution is applied cold or warm. A cleaning temperature of 60 °C should not be exceeded. The cleaning times go according to the operational experiences. Please rinse afterwards thoroughly with water.
Brewing industry:
– For cleaning of the lauter tun as well as for acid drum cleaning (plants of stainless steel) FLORIN® SV RAPID can be applied.
– Lauter tun: 0.1 – 1.5%, cold
– Drum cleaning: 1.0 – 2.0%, cold up to +70 °C
Furthermore FLORIN® SV RAPID is applied in a concentration of application of approx. 0.5 – 1.0 % for the tasks given below: removal of stone covering at devices of all kinds, outside cleaning of plants of stainless steel, tile cleaning, cold glass cleaning in glass washing machines (e.g. beer- and cocktailglasses), cleaning of wash systems for boxes in meat industry and butcheries (dilution 1:1000 up to 1:2000).
Due to the consistency of corrosion of aluminium and stainless steel, the content of chloride in the application solution should not exceed approx. 50 mg/l as with all acid cleaning agents. FLORIN® SV RAPID must not be applied together with active-chlorinated products. For the treatment of aluminium and aluminium alloys FLORIN® SV RAPID is suited to a limited extent and is unsuitable for surfaces of marble. Surfaces, which are in contact with food must be rinsed after the cleaning or before resumption of work sufficiently with drinking water.
